Brad Wylde - Executive Director

As Executive Director, Wylde oversees the player development, guidance and coaching responsibilities for all children under the CSA soccer program.
Wylde has a track record of successfully leading other well known soccer clubs in the greater Charlotte area. He has also helped numerous players obtain partial or full scholarships to NCAA Division 1 and Division 2 programs.
Wylde joined South Charlotte Soccer Association as Executive Director in 2005, and grew the organization from a thirty team club to one of the strongest clubs in the south region with over 80 teams competing in all levels of play . In 2008, Wylde coached the club’s first US Youth Soccer Regional Championship team and took the team to SCSA’s first appearance at the National Championships.
Wylde is an associate National Staff instructor under the National Coaches Association of America, teaching state, regional and advanced regional courses in the Southeast Region: he is also a former NC Olympic Development state team coach.
Wylde was an NSCAA All American at Catawba College and a 4 year professional player with the Charlotte Eagles, SC Shamrocks, and Carolina Dynamo.
Wylde is fully qualified under the NSCAA and holds multiple licenses through the English FA.

Matt Denton - Director, N.Charlotte/Cabarrus Program

Denton was former collegiate standout and two year team captain at Pfeiffer University. During his time at Pfeiffer, Denton led the team to an NCAA National ranking and a conference contender year after year. He Earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration and Marketing with concetrations in Finance and Economics. Denton coached the very first CSA Cabarrus team and directed the Academy program in its inaugural year 2009. Denton is currently going through his licensing courses with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Jake Harrision - Technical Director, N.Charlotte/Cabarrus Program

Jake comes to CSA from Fredonia State University where he was the full time assistant coach for the past two years. Jake’s youth experience stems from his role as the Director of the Grassroots Sports Academy, where he oversaw all financial aspects of the academy, sponsorship deals, customer accounts, staff training/coaching, and developed the entire player development training program. He also coached with the Youth Soccer League program at the Black Watch Soccer club in upstate New York. Jake brings a wealth of knowledge to CSA from the experience he obtained at both the collegiate and youth level. Jake was a former youth player with Manchester United, England and a two-year professional player with The Rochester Rhinos and Rhode Island Stingrays of the USL A league.
