About CSA North- Serving University City, Cabarrus and Lake Norman Areas
Charlotte Soccer Academy is the only full service club in the Mecklenburg and Cabarrus area, offering our members opportunities to play and develop at all ages and levels: Recreation, U9/U10 Academy, Challenge, Classic, Region III Premier, Elite Clubs National League and US Development Academy.
Charlotte Soccer Academy is continuing to grow its competitive soccer program in the University, Huntersville, Davidson and Cabarrus area. Building on the success of our startup teams in Concord in 2007, CSA continues to grow by providing top level directors, coaches and training.
Charlotte Soccer Academy has grown from two teams in 2007 to sixteen teams in 2010/2011. The continued growth of the CSA-North program has given kids an opportunity to play soccer at the next level. We have put together some of the top teams in the state and at some levels the nation. Teams have had tremendous success winning the Jefferson Cup and Disney Showcase (Two of the most prestigious tournaments on the east coast).
Teams will practice and play games at Overcash Soccer Complex in Concord. (3400 Davidson Highway Concord, NC 28027). Our practice facility is 15 minutes from Lake Norman (Straight shot on Highway 73), 10 minutes away from the University area (right off of Interstate 85) and 15 minutes from the Harrisburg area.
In addition, we have also started a partnership with the Cannon Memorial YMCA starting a Pre-Challenge Program. This program has grown from three teams to nine teams in one year which gives our younger kids a chance to get better coaching at a younger age. In doing this it allows kids to be more competitive while focusing on the fundamental aspects of the game.
The mission of Charlotte Soccer Academy includes a five-pronged philosophy:
