Preseason Tournament Reminders
Your DOC will be sending the managers and coaches information on the preseason tournaments that teams are required to attend through January and February.We have made some adjustments to the tournament list to make sure we give each team a positive start to the spring season with some competitive games. This schedule will be distributed to managers and posted on the website soon.
Volunteers for tournament Adidas Cup
CSA will be hosting its preseason tournament the weekend of Feb 6th – 7th.We are looking for volunteers to help us make this event a success this year.If you are interested in helping the club over the weekend or be a part of one of our committees, please contact Dan Dudley ddudley@charlottesocceracademy.com
Region 3 Playoffs and Development Academy Games this weekend
We have some top soccer going on this weekend with our top level teams competing in various events. CSA is hosting the Region 3 playoffs for the U15,U16,U17 girls.Games will be played at ArdreyKellHigh School, CharlotteChristianHigh School and DaviePark on Friday Night, and Saturday (all day) and on Sunday morning at ElonPark.
Also on Sunday, our US Academy teams kick off their season vs. SC Utd.The U14 prep academy will kick off at 10am, the U16 will play at 12pm and the U18’s at 2pm.All three games will be at DaviePark.We encourage all our younger players to take this opportunity to see the elite players perform this weekend.

Congratulations to the U18 Boys Predator that were unbeaten this weekend at the CASL Showcase.A great start to the spring season, well done.

This will be on all my updates. Good communication is the key to a successful club. All families in the club should have the accessibility to communicate with your team coach and DOC throughout the season. Our coaches are reminded to have periodic meetings through the season to keep families up to date on the progression of the team. Email addresses for me and the DOC’s are on the website if you need to communicate with us. If you need to talk in person, we are in the office each day and if you do not reach us directly, we will return a call in a timely fashion to address any questions or concerns. We have a fantastic full time staff here at CSA and some great team coaches. If you have any issues with your team, club, etc please do not allow a problem to persist. Communicate with the staff so we can deal with it and move on in a positive way.
