SNG Photography wanted to pass on the following message to our members about their involvement with CSA this season: SNG Photography is excited to be working with CSA in providing their Soccer Families with Team/Individual and Action Photography.  We will begin Team/Individual Photos in March.  Each team will receive a message from their manager with the time/date/location of their team’s photo shoot.  That email will also include information about our product offering and ordering information.  A portion of the proceeds from your order will go directly back to your club.  Our goal is to provide high quality photography and customer service for you and appreciate any feedback or questions that you may have.  Feel free to contact us at SNGphotography@aol.com or 704-905-9079.  We look forward to working with you!"

US Development Academy Update U14, U16, U18 back to back games this weekend

The US Academy is the newest initiative set up by US Soccer to identify the top players in the country and play them together in a formalized league structure. CSA was one of the first 64 clubs in the country (1 of 4 in NC) to be a part of this new league at the U16 and U18 boys level.  We now enter our 3rd year in the program and the progression of youth soccer under this new system has been incredible.  The league now consists of over 70 clubs and the quality of play throughout the country has been extremely high. This venue has placed our elite players on the map to get some extensive college exposure.

This weekend our teams have back to back games vs. the two Richmond Clubs.  Our U14 prep program will play at 2pm this Saturday vs. the Richmond Kickers with the U16’s playing at 4pm and the U18’s at 6pm all at Davie Park.  On Sunday, the U14’s and U16’s will both kick off 10am vs. the Richmond Strikers with the U18’s following at 12pm.  All Sunday games will be at Manchester Meadows in Rock Hill.

Parking rules and regulations at CPI fields and other locations reminder

A 2nd reminder about the parking requirements at our fields this spring season

CPI Fields at Flat Branch Park (Polo Ridge Elementary School)

1, the main gate that drives to the back of the school where the bus parking lot is will not be open till 6pm, so all cars must be parked at the front of the school in the designated parking area ONLY.  There are after school programs that don’t finish till 6pm and the school needs to be concerned with these children crossing the road prior to 6pm. After 6pm, cars will be able to drive into the school and park around the back but AGAIN ONLY IN DESIGNATED PARKING AREAS. Please note that the gates are locked by school personnel before practice ends and you may get locked in!

2, parking for parents must be in specified parking areas ONLY.  You will be ticketed if you park on street or in an unmarked parking area.

3, this is a trash free park and we want to keep these fields in the best shape possible, please remove all trash after each session and place them in trash bins or take it with you.

JM Robinson Middle School

A reminder on the parking area in the front of the fields: PLEASE NOTE THIS AREA NOW IS FOR DROP OFF ONLY.  If you want to park and wait for your child, parking will be available up at the school.  The front parking area is for coaching staff and officials only.

Communication.  The key to a successful club.  ALWAYS ON UPDATES.

This will be on all my updates. Good communication is the key to a successful club.  All families in the club should have the accessibility to communicate with your team coach and DOC throughout the season.  Our coaches are reminded to have periodic meetings through the season to keep families up to date on the progression of the team.  Emails for the DOCs and me are on the website if you need to communicate with us.  If you need to talk in person, we are in the office each day and if you do not reach us directly, we will return a call in a timely fashion to address any questions or concerns.  We have a fantastic full time staff here at CSA and some great team coaches. If you have any issues with your team, club etc please do not allow a problem to persist. Communicate with the staff so we can deal with it and move on in a positive way.
