ECNL (Elite Club National League) Update from National Tournament Las Vegas
Each of the U15, U16 and U17 ECNL Predator Teams returned home last week from their last of three ECNL tournament showcase events in LAS Vegas, Nevada.
The U17 Predator defeated Arsenal FC 2-1, West Coast FC 1-0 and lost to Mustang FC 1-0. The U16 Predator defeated Pleasanton Rage 4-0, tied Sereno 1-1 and lost to Mustang FC 2-1. The U15 Predator tied Stars of Mass 1-1, tied 0-0 with Colorado Rush and pushed the defending National Champions Mustang FC all the way, losing 3-2.
"Our ECNL experience this year has been first class," states ECNL Director Adam Denton. "The ECNL provides the best competition for girls soccer in the country and also provides exposure to college coaches that is second to none. Each of our players and teams have enjoyed the experience this year and I know are looking forward to the future seasons in the ECNL. The Las Vegas trip was another great success and I would like to thank our volunteers at the event. We want our players to travel and understand the college environment so we have the players travel and room together as it adds to the overall quality of the program. Without our volunteers this would not be possible.”
The players will now have a break from ECNL competition before practices resume at the start of the summer to prepare for the ECNL National Championship Series held in Seattle, Washington from July 14-18th. All 120 teams from 40 clubs will be at the event, the last of the 2009-10 season.

Communication. The key to a successful club. ALWAYS ON UPDATES.
This will be on all my updates. Good communication is the key to a successful club. All families in the club should have the accessibility to communicate with your team coach and DOC throughout the season. Our coaches are reminded to have periodic meetings through the season to keep families up to date on the progression of the team. Email addresses for me and all the DOCs are on the website if you need to communicate with us. If you need to talk in person, we are in the office each day and if you do not reach us directly, we will return a call in a timely fashion to address any questions or concerns. We have a fantastic full time staff here at CSA and some great team coaches. If you have any issues with your team, club etc please do not allow a problem to persist. Communicate with the staff so we can deal with it and move on in a positive way.
