End of Season Evaluations
The DOC and Coach evaluations are now out and active. Please take the opportunity to fill these out and get them turned in. It is important that we receive feedback from our members so that we may keep building and improving each season. As an organization, we appreciate hearing how our members feel about how the season progressed. All evaluations need to be turned in no later than Friday December 16th. DOC evaluations can be emailed directly to bwylde@charlottesocceracademy.com, or mailed/faxed to the CSA office. Coach evaluations need to be given directly to your team manager or mailed/faxed to the office. Here is the EVALUATION link again, if needed. Thank you for taking the time to fill these evaluations out!

ECNL Girls Update
The 2011-2012 ECNL program has expanded to 66 Clubs from across the country and is the highest level of play for girl’s youth soccer. Out of the seven North Carolina clubs that have applied to be part of the ECNL program over the last two seasons, only Charlotte Soccer Academy and CASL have been selected.
The U18-U15 ECNL will be off until December 11th where they will be playing home at Manchester Meadows against the Carolina Elite Soccer Academy. Kick off will start 2pm.

US Academy Boys Update
The US Academy is the newest initiative set up by US Soccer to identify the top players in the country and play them together in a formalized league structure. CSA was one of the first 64 clubs in the country (1 of 4 in NC) to be a part of this new league at the U16 and U18 boys level.  We now enter our 4th year in the program and the progression of youth soccer under this new system has been incredible.  The league now consists of 80 clubs and the quality of play throughout the country has been extremely high. This venue has placed our elite players on the map to get some extensive college exposure. Our U16 and U18 teams have just returned from the first Academy showcase in Sarasota Florida and had a very productive weekend, info on the games can be found on the US soccer website.  www.ussoccer.com
The league has now expanded into the U14 division with the best players born in 1997 or younger competing in newly formed regional leagues. The 14s will have a short break then play December 11th home against North Carolina Fusion in preparation for the Disney Pre-Academy Showcase December 27th-30th.

REMINDER: Tour Opportunities to England Summer 2012
Each year CSA tries to send a team to the UK on an 8-10 day tour and we are trying to plan for 2012.  The trip is a combination of some great sites (including day trips to the major sites in London, one of the English Castles, a tour of a premier league stadium and of course games vs. international competition). The teams we put together range from rising U11 through rising U15 boys and girls. There will be an informational meeting Sunday, December 11th at 5:30pm at the CSA office. Please call me prior to the meeting for any additional information or email me at bwylde@charlottesocceracademy.com.

Communication - The key to a successful club.
ALWAYS ON UPDATES.
This will be on all my updates. Good communication is the key to a successful club. All families in the club should have the accessibility to communicate with your team coach and DOC throughout the season. Our coaches are reminded to have periodic meetings through the season to keep families up to date on the progression of the team. My email and the email of each Directors of Coaching are listed on the website. If you need to talk in person, please contact the club office and if you do not reach us directly, we will return a call in a timely fashion to address any questions or concerns. We have a fantastic full time staff here at CSA and some great team coaches. If you have any issues with your coach, team, club, etc. please do not allow a problem to persist. Communicate with the staff so we can deal with it and move on in a positive way.
