His participation in this exclusive training camp was a very important step in the opportunity for him to join the pool of players that will be a part of the US Soccer Residency Program, and also represent the United States in both international and domestic competition leading up to the CONCACAF Qualifying and FIFA U17 World Cup in 2011.

Brad Wylde, Executive Director of CSA said “we are very proud of Austin’s accomplishments this season, he truly is a talented player and totally deserves this opportunity to shows his talents with the best players in the country. We wish him every success in the future as he embarks on the US Academy season”

Richard Butler, CSA’s Director for the US Development Academy Program said, “This is a great honor for Austin. We are always trying to help our most gifted players reach the pinnacle of soccer here in the US. Austin has shown he is a player who US Soccer could pick for the Residency Program, CONCACAF Qualifying or even the FIFA U17 World Cup in 2011. It is now time for him to rise to the challenge and week in week out show in the Academy season that he is the person for the US. Congratulations to him and I hope he pushes for a place in the squad”.
