CSA ECNL DEVELOPMENTAL TEAMS

For the 2011-12 Season; The Charlotte Soccer Academy Developmental Squads are each of our U 14 U 15, U 16, U 17 and U 18 Predator Teams.

Starting in the fall season of 2011, CSA is implementing a larger player pool within the ECNL structure to create more opportunities for players within the club to be considered for our ECNL teams.  CSA realizes that players develop a different rates and a player in May, at tryouts, maybe a different player by mid fall due to additional training through summer, commitment to the game, physical development etc.  With this is mind, players on our Premier level teams will be classified as developmental players and will be training within the ECNL structure on a weekly basis (outside of regular premier team practices). Our Premier players can then be constantly assessed throughout the year and at any given time pulled into the ECNL Teams for ECNL games throughout the season.

Each Charlotte Soccer Academy Predator team will be trainied in an environment to best develop these players so each player can have the opportunity to reach the ECNL level during the season or in future seasons. Through the course of the Fall season players are evaluated by the CSA Coaching Staff and players that have excelled on the Predator teams will be rewarded and invited to participate in the ECNL Conference Games and ECNL College Showcase Events with the CSA ECNL Teams.

The maxium roster of players for any ECNL Team is 26 Players and a maximum of 18 players on each team are selected for each ECNL game. Once a player is registered on an ECNL Team roster they can not be removed and players can be on multiple ECNL Team rosters as long as they are age appropiate. Only CSA players can be invited to participate on the CSA ECNL Teams.

Per ECNL Rules: NO GUEST PLAYERS ARE PERMITTED FROM OUTSIDE EACH ECNL MEMBER CLUB (CHARLOTTE SOCCER ACADEMY)
