Rec Program Coordinator: Jamie Luckie
Jamie comes to us from the Charlotte Soccer Club where he has been working for the last ten years in various roles, including board member, coach and director of the challenge and recreation program. Jamie has been involved in running youth soccer programs for many years, and was one of the three original coaches of the first group of classic teams at SCSA. Jamie has a Bachelor’s degree from Potsdam State University in New York, where he was an all conference goal keeper. He has been around youth sports his entire life, and spent countless hours with the Charlotte Soccer Club in promoting soccer at the younger age groups. In the winter you can follow Jamie in another sport, refereeing men’s college basketball in the ACC, Big East, SEC and several other leagues around the country.
U4 Tots-n-Tikes Program Coach: Abe Senbel
Abe has over twelve years of teaching and administrative experience in NC and SC public schools. He currently teachers in Rock Hill School District in SC. He earned a B.A. in French Education (K-12) from Lenoir Rhyne College in Hickory, NC, M.A. in the Art of Teaching Foreign Languages from the University of Southern Mississippi in Harriesburg, MS, M.A. in School Administration from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC, and Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC.
Abe grew up playing soccer in his native country of Morocco. He played on the Raja U12, U14, and U16; a first division team in Casablanca Morocco. While at Lenoir Rhyne college, he played one season on the soccer team before he turned his attention to cross country running; the other passion. In 1991 and 1992, Abe represented Lenoir Rhyne College at National Championship and was also named the runner of the year 1991 and 1992. Abe has over 15 years of refereeing, coaching, and training experience. in the Charlotte and Rock Hill areas.
