Charlotte Soccer Academy Girls to Enter the Development Player League for 2020-2021

Due to the success this past year of the Charlotte Soccer Academy Girls Elite program in the USYS and National League, CSA has been given a tremendous opportunity to enter the Development Player League for 2020-2021. This is a national program that has been established directly under the U.S. Soccer Development Academy program with some of the top programs around the U.S. We feel that in order to continue to create a pathway for our players at the Elite level that still wish to play high school soccer, this opportunity gives them an additional growth platform for college exposure, better competition and a program directly underneath what is already established year-round with the U.S. Soccer Development Academy.

CSA will enter the DPL with some of the best clubs in the country which include Tophat, FC Dallas, Solar, Dallas Texans, Legends, San Diego Surf, Pateadores and IMG. CSA will compete in the Southeast Division with clubs including Tophat, USA/Mount Pleasant, Weston, IMG and Florida Rush. In addition to division play, the league provides up to three showcases a year in alignment with the DA showcases which gives our players tremendous opportunity for college exposure.

Tryouts for CSA DPL U16-U19 will be held the weekend of 2/15-2/16. Please visit the TRYOUTS 2020 tab for more information on tryouts and see below for FAQs that elaborate on the league. To learn more about the DPL please visit https://www.dpleague.org.
