Hiring of Alistair Bain, ECNL Boys Academy Coach and Video Analysis Coordinator

CSA is pleased to announce the hiring of Alistair Bain to our full-time staff. Bain will be a senior member of the coaching staff for the ECNL Boys Academy as well as working within our current video analysis department.

Coach Bain joins CSA having spent the last five seasons in the U.S. Soccer Development Academy with Seacoast United and Charlotte Independence, where he held director and head coaching positions.

Bain’s coaching career began with the Scottish Football Association. He then moved to work within youth roles at Crystal Palace FC, Watford FC and Celtic FC. In 2009 Bain joined the executive staff of Global Premier Soccer, having an oversight of a number of clubs within the New England region.

In addition to almost 20 years of coaching experience, Bain has managed video analysis programming at the youth, college and professional soccer level. In 2015 he was awarded the USSF A License qualification.

“The inclusion of Ally to our staff is a big plus for the players and teams as his knowledge of the game along with his experiences will be a great addition to our already excellent staff,” states ECNL Academy Boys Director, Steve Gummer. “Ally’s knowledge of video analysis and his attention to detail in this area will help our staff and players education to no end. We welcome Ally to CSA and look forward to a bright future as we navigate through these difficult times in the Nation’s current climate.”

“I am extremely grateful to both Brad Wylde and Steve Gummer for providing me with this magnificent opportunity to join one of the leading soccer organizations in the country. I look forward to supporting the players and families as well as contribute to the continued success of the club,” states Bain.

“I am very excited about the opportunity to bring Ally to CSA,” states Executive Director, Brad Wylde. “Hiring Ally has brought yet another great coach with a tremendous wealth of knowledge from a very extensive background to our already extensive full-time staff. Ally's hiring will only help enhance our club as one of the strongest full-service soccer organizations in the country.”

Coach Bain will officially be starting with CSA as soon as the club is back on the field following the suspension with COVID 19.
