ECNL DIRECTOR PATRICK BRIDGES TO DEPART CSA
PINEVILLE, NC - Charlotte Soccer Academy announces that Patrick Bridges will depart from his role as ECNL Director at CSA. Coach Bridges is exploring opportunities to be closer to home with his wife, who is expecting their second child, and young daughter.
Coach Bridges joined CSA in 2018, when he became a Director of Coaching in the North/Cabarrus program. His role expanded in 2019 when CSA joined the Boys ECNL. He played an integral part in CSA’s inaugural 2019-2020 season of Boys ECNL as the Program Director.
“I want to thank Brad for giving me the opportunity to work for CSA. He is a tremendous leader and role model and someone I will always stay in touch with. This is an amazing club with amazing people working both on and off the fields. I have enjoyed my time at CSA and will greatly miss working with the players and staff. My wife and I are expecting our second child this Fall and I will be exploring options closer to home. Even though I will miss the staff and club, I am looking forward to being closer to home and helping my wife and daughter welcome our second child.” states Coach Bridges.
“We are sad to see Patrick leave his role at CSA,” states Brad Wylde, Executive Director, “but we understand him wanting to be closer to his wife and family. We thank him for his contributions to the ECNL program and Club and wish him the best in his future as he looks to continue his coaching career.”
Coach Bridges will continue his role at CSA throughout the remainder of April. Elite Program Director, Steve Magee, will assume Coach Bridge’s responsibilities upon his departure temporarily while the club looks for a replacement.
