For Immediate Release:

Charlotte Soccer Academy York County (SC) to Enter into the
Boys National Premier Leagues (NPL) for 2021-2022

Charlotte Soccer Academy is pleased to announce they have been accepted into the National Premier Leagues (NPL) for the 2021-22 season. This program will compete in the South Atlantic division consisting of Premier clubs from North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia. CSA entered the NPL to provide elite CSA-York County players the opportunity to compete on a National platform but still have the opportunity to play South Carolina high school soccer.

“We are thrilled to be accepted into the NPL. The NPL platform is an exciting competitive program that has been a past success in the community. This will provide a great level for our South Carolina players wishing to play competitively with club around high school soccer. The league and clubs already involved in this league (Wake FC, SC Surf, Tomenta FC, etc) are well established and we all share the same holistic approach to the game and player development. We look forward to offering a premier competitive program that is affordable, South Carolina high school friendly, and a springboard to college soccer to our members,” states Ralph Latchana, NPL Director.

“We are extremely excited about providing an additional platform for our Elite level players residing in South Carolina,” states Executive Director Brad Wylde. “With the launch of our York County program this next season, having a National platform compliments the club’s overall mission of providing a program for every level of play within the York County community.”

CSA will hold NPL assessment (ID) sessions for the 2021-22 season in the coming weeks. Information on the program including coaching assignments, travel, practice and game locations, fees, etc. will be forthcoming. Continue to check the club’s website and social media platforms for updated information. ID sessions will be conducted at locations in South Carolina with venues at Rock Hill/Fort Mill. For more information about the CSA NPL program please contact Ralph Latchana at [email protected].
