After a great weekend of play from all age groups, the following teams have advanced to the semi-final games in Wilson, NC next Saturday.

At the 15U age group, the 15U South Elite team coached by Heather Frelin advanced to the USYS final four, winning their bracket with a 3-0 record. They will play LNSC Eclipse Elite at 9am.

Joining them on the other side of the bracket will be the 18U South Elite coached by Nathan Wade who also had three wins out of three during group games and will play NCFC Elite also at 12pm Saturday.

Rounding out the USYS semifinalists is the 19U Charlotte King coached by Philip Poole. They also won their bracket with 3 wins and will play Carolina Rapids Burgundy; kick off this Saturday will be 3pm.

At the Kepner Cup Championships, congratulations  go out to our 16U Matthews/Mint Hill King team coached by Rod Jackson. The team were unbeaten in their group play advancing to the quarter finals where they beat NCC GUSA Gold to advance to Saturday's 6pm semi-final game vs WFC Raleigh Lightning also in Wilson.

From Executive Director Brad Wylde, “I want to congratulate all the coaches, players and Directors of Coaching for their accomplishments this season. This is a phenomenal achievement for our entire program, and when you combine this success with our national programs on both the boys and girls side, it continues to solidify the progression of CSA to be one of the strongest clubs in the region and country from top to bottom. For the first season following the merger between CSA and CUFC, our Elite Program has been a success with 5 of their teams advancing. A lot of credit needs to go to the coaching staff and the Directors of Coaching, who have done a fantastic job with all the teams within their age groups this season. We hope the respective teams will perform to their full potential next weekend and put themselves in a position to win a state title.  Regardless of the results, we are very proud of all the teams and coaching staff and we hope they relish the experience next week, congrats to all and good luck.”
